Austin 85 Light Whiskey is very smooth. It did not burn going down. I could taste something just a tad sweet – vanilla, I think. I use it in my cocktail recipes. Definitely recommend, especially for people just getting into whiskey.

Austin 101 Light Whiskey is definitely 101 proof – WOW! Strong. My partner drinks it on the rocks and I make Old Fashions and Hot Toddys with it. I discovered it on a day they were giving samples out. I really like the cute glasses that came with my purchase. Great price compared to other high proof whiskeys.
