Initially matured in ex-Bourbon Barrels with a heavy charring filled with a mixed mash bill single pot still distillate of locally grown within 25 miles of the distillery of malted barley un-malted barley oats and rye. After the initial aging the whiskey was transferred into Maderia Casks for finishing. The result is a whiskey with notes apples peaches honey and toasted oak spice. The finish is smooth with a savory mixture of vanilla walnuts dried fruit cake and lemon oil.
