Cask-aged super premium white rum with a dry house style. Distilled for dryness: brugal’s distillation removes many of the heavy alcohols that give other rums their sweetness resulting in a clean dry and smooth spirit. Cask aged for smoothness: a blend of rums aged 2-5 years exclusively in white american oak casks. (former american whiskey medium toasted) the same amount of time as brugal anejo. Triple-filtered to enhance smoothness and remove the color. Aged using the same wood policy as the world’s finest single malt and scotch whiskies. 40% abv tasting notes: color: clear clean and totally transparent color due to triple filtration. Nose: very clean aroma pleasant and subtle with hints of light vanilla citrus and coconut. Palate: delicate smooth clean and refined flavor. Rating: wine enthusiast 90 points (aug 2012).
