The Dalmore King Alexander III showcases cask curation for over 180 years bringing together exquisite casks from the worlds finest bodegas and wineries to produce whiskys of exceptional quality. Recently award 98pts from Wine Enthusiast the highest rated whisky in 2025. Six different cask finishes are exquisitely curated to create the most elegant whisky from The Dalmore. Initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels the liquid is then apportioned between small batch ex-Bourbon barrels Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks Madeira barrels Marsala casks Port Pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques. Notes of citrus zest vanilla pod crme caramel and crushed almonds Tasting Notes: Nose: chocolate and nuts both flesh and shells toffee touches of spiced raisin and vanilla. Palate: measured sugary sweetness to start with orange and vanilla backed up by sweet raisins raspberry and winey touches. Finish: Spicy oak polished wood and licorice root.
