Doc Swinson's Exploratory Cask • French Toasted

This very spirit starts it's first 5 years (or more) in traditional American oak and is then paired with tight grained French oak from Taransaud cooperage rooted in the heart of cognac France. These casks are often used in making some of the world premiere wines and cognacs. We find these casks to add rich textures deep sweetness and exotic baking spices. Nose: Cocoa coffee and toasted oak. Palate: Toffee chocolate ganache orange marmalade vanilla buttercream and baking spice. Finish: Long and smooth. Drinks like an old cognac.
