Turley mill is made from 95% rye aged in new charred american oak. The dry climate and high elevation in new mexico create a unique aging process. Turley mill is the only cask strength offering. Turley mill has an abv range of 115-128 proof. Batch sizes are under 200 bottles. Each barrel is hand selected and filtered. Each bottle is hand bottled numbered and dated. 58. 5% abv tasting notes: a nose of traditional caramel and toffee a nice spice profile of cinnamon clove and minty cocoa and an elegant oak. Medium texture on the palate with dark burnt sugar and vanilla fudge upfront more herbal tea with some sharp cinnamon bark and a peppery oak and sweet tobacco in back. Some orange rind comes and goes. Enjoyable finish with sweet notes hanging around with some menthol and vanilla.
