Tequila Komos is an ultra-luxury tequila created by people with a great deal of history in the world of agave. Tequila Komos founder and CEO Richard Betts already saw success creating the brands Astral Tequila and Sombra Mezcal and the NOM and distillery partner is Orendain one of the four founding families of Tequila. These partners are committed to sustainable practices in tequila-making including repurposing waste from production into bricks given to the people of Tequila to build infrastructure working with the same farming families for generations to grow their agaves and fabricating the one-of-a-kind handmade porcelain bottle in Mexico to reduce carbon footprint and to employ more local population. Aged for a minimum of three years in both French oak white wine barrels and American bourbon barrels the result is an opulent luxurious and incredibly complex tequila.
