LABEL 5 BOURBON BARREL is a Single Grain Scotch Whisky developed with the know-how and expertise of La Martiniquaises fully owned grain distillery near Edinburgh one of only 7 grain distilleries still active in Scotland. The best grains are selected distilled and aged for several years exclusively in first fill Bourbon barrels in our Scottish cellars. These barrels have been through a toasting stage where the insides are burnt to allow a better transfer of aromas from wood to Whisky. This process introduces distinct notes of vanilla and fruit making LABEL 5 Bourbon Barrel ideal for use in cocktails and long drinks. Winner of the gold medal at The Scotch Whisky Masters 2021.
