Matured exclusively in sherry wood this extraordinarily old macallan will be a show piece for any collection. Heralding from the post war era it was reportedly made with peated malt due to the high prices of coal at the time making it all the more unusual. 40% abv packaged in a handsome top-hinged presentation box there is a very minor chip on top right corner otherwise this is in excellent condition. We have bottle number 2297.
