The plata (blanco) is aged for 15 days in american oak barrels. The plata is the choice of tequila purists who seek the unmasked agave character and the influences of the land of origin. 40% abv the long maturing agave achieves the highest quality fructose and reveals the unique aromas and flavors indigenous to the jalisco highlands. Best served chilled or on the rocks never frozen or on it’s own and no salt or lime needed. Best for mixing. Found everywhere from small family owned taquerias to fine dining. Great in margaritas palomas etc.
