The Whistler 16-year-old Palo Cortado Sherry Cask Finish Irish Whiskey is 100% single malt. Aged for 12-years in ex-bourbon barrels and finished for 4-years in solera Palo Cortado casks from Jerez Spain. The initial juicy orange flavor dissipates to peel notes lime and grapefruit with salted caramel spice honey and red apple layering on more sherry notes with dried apricot and creamy condensed milk then a marzipan and sweet cherry finish. 94 points by Whisky Advocate.
