The Barlow Family Selection Cabernet Sauvignon opens with generous dark cherry juicy plum currant and cassis shifting to fresh blueberry with a hint of tobacco. These in turn are strengthened by dark chocolate mocha and a slight suggestion of sweet oak. The palate is bright concentrated and dense with plenty of structured tannins strengthened by French oak. This provides wonderful texture while the bright fresh fruit flavors balance the wines impressive concentration yielding an extraordinarily food-friendly wine.
