Beronia Reserva Rioja

Beronia Reserva is produced in Rioja Alta. It is a Tempranillo led blend and is aged for 18 months in mixed American and French oak barrels and 20 months in bottle. Deep black plum in color clean and bright with a garnet rim. Attractive and intriguing on the nose it displays nutty aromas (roasted almonds and walnuts) followed by notes of plum primarily but also ripe fruit and a pleasant hint of white pepper which all add complexity and freshness. Full bodied on the palate the wine displays balanced acidity. The flavors are mostly of ripe fruit whilst the finish is sweet and smooth recalling cocoa and roasted hazelnuts. A perfect accompaniment to roast meat grilled cutlets cured Iberian meats and mature cheese.
