Winemaker's tasting impressions this approachable fruit-forward zinfandel is a sure crowd pleaser. E wine was aged in a 50% split of french and american oak for a year with about 30% of that new. Is allows the zin to practically burst with aromas of ripe black cherry a little blueberry and brown sugar. Rich berry and soft chocolate linger long on the palate mingling with soft tannins and spice. This well-structured zinfandel is perfectly balanced between tannins and acid making it an excellent companion to a range of foods.
