Our castle rock merlot is made from grapes grown in california’s central coast region. Here the warm sunshine and cooling ocean breezes provide an ideal climate leading to an extended growing season and yielding wines with a characteristic depth of flavor. This elegant full-bodied wine has a deep ruby color a velvety texture and aromas of herbs cherries and plums. On the palate it combines complex flavors of cherries blueberries and black pepper moderate tannins and it finishes long and harmoniously.
