75% Cabernet Sauvignon 10% Cabernet Franc 10% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot with 50% of the vineyards in biodynamic and the balance in organic. All hilltop vineyards so virtually no frost damage in 2017. Aged in all French oak barrels – 45% new. Red-magenta color with well-formed legs; dry medium bodied with freshly balanced acidity and medium phenolics with a really quite long finish. Bigger riper juicier with darker red and quite dark red fruit but still has some crunchiness. Accented with dusty tobacco and dusty gravel with darker spice and some pencil shavings. Delicious.
