Located in the corner of St. Emilion that is in Libourne and from the winemaking team at Cheval Blanc comes this 62% Merlot 22% Cabernet Sauvignon and 16% Cabernet Franc aged in all French oak (mostly in 500 hecto-liter) barrels - 50% new. Red-purple color with well-formed legs; dry medium bodied with freshly balanced acidity and medium phenolics with quite a long finish. Bright and alive with delicious red and some darker red fruit. Supple with layers and textures. Lovely. BearScore: 95
