54% Cabernet Franc 44% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged in all new French oak barrels. Red-purple color with well-formed legs; dry medium bodied with freshly balanced acidity and medium phenolics. Supple classy classic St. Emilion with as much or more Cabernet Franc than I see regularly in anyones blend (The vineyard is planted to 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernets). Complete and nicely integrating. Notes of new oak and mineral limestone earth. Really delicious. Layered-Textured-Dimensional. BearScore: 96
