2015 Vintage 90 points Lisa Perrotti-Brown – The Wine Advocate 28th Feb 2017 – Deep ruby-purple colored the 2015 Pinot Noir is intensely scented of crushed black and red cherries with hints of game mossy tree bark and charcoal. Medium to full-bodied the palate is packed with vibrant cherry and red berry flavors framed by velvety tannins finishing with great purity. 2014 Vintage 92 points Robert M. Parker Jr – The Wine Advocate 3rd Mar 2016 – The Crossbarn 2014 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is another knockout winner. A Sonoma Coast cuve of just over 11 000 cases the wine (made from Dijon clones 777 and 115 and the Calera selection) exhibits some smoky barbecue notes baking spice loads of blackcurrant and black cherry fruit medium to full body and plenty of spice but the purity of fruit and lusciousness are head-turners especially at this price point. The two cuves of Crossbarn Cabernet Sauvignon are also noteworthy values.
