A blend of 37% Merlot 31% Cabernet Franc 26% Syrah and 3% Petite Verdot (according to label - website is different). Harvested grapes were sorted and fermented in small 2 ton open top stainless steel tanks with punch downs. Malo-lactic in barrels. Aged 24 months in all French oak barrels (25% new). Purple in color with well-formed legs; dry medium-plus-bodied with fresh acidity; medium plus phenolics. Dusty fresh juicy focused mix of new world fruit and old world balance. Fresh and delciious with decidedly red fruit and spice with enough oak and earth to add complexity and character. The red fruit is the thing here. Delicious. BearScore: 92+.
