100% Pinot Noir from near Santenay. five day cold soak. Indigenous yeast fermentation in opentops with pumpovers with an occasional punchdown. Indigenous alo-lactic fermentation occurs in both barrel and tank. Aged 12 months in 50% Stainless Steel & 50% French barrique (10% new). Red color with wellf ormed legs; dry medium light-bodied with freshly balanced acidity and medium phenolics. Delicious easy to drink and like red fruit Burgundy with spice and cola and more character than its Bourgogne label would indicate. Yum. BearScore: 90+.
