A solid and structured red with bark and blackberry as well as sap and pine-cone undertones. Medium-bodied and tannic yet polished and deep. The tannins melt into the wine. A blend of cabernet sauvignon and merlot. Drink after 2025. 96 points – James Suckling April 2022. The 2019 Red Blend Mernet Reserve is another superb wine from Keenan. This Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon blend is bold deep and full of character. It captures all the nuance Keenan fans expect amplified by an extra kick of richness in the fruit.
