L'espigouette Rasteau

The Rasteau PAS DU MEUNIER is located on the heights of the appellation. Its stony clay soils and safre gives fine and powerful wines with aromas of wild mure licorice and cocoa with aeration. Tasting comment This Rasteau has a cherry red color with ruby highlights. The wine is limpid and brilliant. The nose is very open and immediately offers a beautiful complexity. From the opening fruity aromas dominate reminiscent of blackberry candied cherry crushed strawberry. Then with aeration the complexity is expressed and the sweet spices take the upper hand marry scents of scrubland black olives and cocoa bean. This wine presents a beautiful duality between the tender almost docile spirit then the strength and the full-bodied character that follow with the aeration. The taste sensations prolong this idea.
