Lubanzi Chenin Blanc - South Africa

Tasting Notes A lively green color with hues of pale straw is the first indication this is going ti be both fresh and complex. The nose offers an intruiging array of fruits - sliced November figs ripe nectarine and freshlypeeled satumas (we call them Naartjies!). In th barckground is the hint of Herbaceous Rosemary. The Palate is round and fleshy nectarine again and a fresh core of green melon. There is the hintof banana bread as well. It is moreish and beautifully balanced. But the excitement doesn't stop there - the finish is creamy and long fresh like watermelon sorbet. Very delicious. Names for a wandering dog... Who led us 6 days & 100 miles hiking across Sout Africa's wild coast and created by two young travelers to share a love for South Africa & grow of families living & working on South Africa's wine farm. - Lubanzi Wines
