The 2009 vintage in Porto was excellent but hot so many houses chose not to declare vintage Ports for long-term ageing. The Messias Colheita 2009 was fermented in granite lagares and aged for 7 years in oak. Opulent and round with dried plum and fig complemented by star anise and vanilla. Soft tannins fresh long finish.
