Neyers Left Bank Red

The wine is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon/50% Merlot from the sustainably farmed Neyers estate property at the base of Howell Mnt. The vines were planted by David Abreu wild yeast fermented and aged in 100% French oak (40% new). The wine has purple-red color with well formed legs. It is dry medium plus bodied with balanced acidity and medium-plus phenolics with a long finish. Lovely wine with a Pessac feel flavors of dusty earth and oak flow into red and darker fruit with accents of tobacco. Bear Score:92
