The wine is 100% cabernet sauvignon grown in the de carle vineyard located on the dusty west side of rutherford. It is aged for 16 months in 48% new french oak. The wine shows purple color with well formed legs. It is dry medium-full bodied with balanced acidity and medium phenolics with a quite long finish. Big and succulent this cabernet offers red and black fruit with a supple mouthfeel of integrated oak and dusty terroir. Somewhat steakhouse in style. Layered-textured=dimensional. Bear score 96+
