Gaps Crown Vineyard is one of the Sonoma Coasts great vineyards and weve been lucky enough to make a single-vineyard Pinot Noir with its incredible fruit since 2007. The Pinot Noir from Gaps Crown is very long-lived and will reward patient cellaring for many years to come. An intense purple hue gives preview to blackberry cobbler and complex forest floor aromatics. Large scale and densely textured this wine delivers a full and amazingly layered impression at first sip. Despite its size and vitality it remains fresh tangy and energetic as it unfurls to a black-fruited core with excellent fruit density. Tannins have a muscular chewiness while still being lithe.
