Royal Oporto Colheita 2004 is simply put a very special vintage tawny Port from a single harvest of traditional Douro Valley grapes. Made in the tawny port style and aged in barrel for at least 7 years but often much longer until bottling. The wine is smooth and nutty with beautiful caramel notes. It retains notes of dried fruit such as figs and oranges and then has beautiful savory qualities from barrel ageing making it wonderfully complex. Very fine served on its own or with cheese. Served slightly chilled.
