Wine maker notes The Rutini Family who hail from eastern Italy (Le Marche) have a prestigious wine making tradition. The initial winery was founded in 1885 and completely renovated in the 1990's with updated technology but the original 19th century architecture was preserved. In 1925 Rutini was the first to plant vineyards in the Tupungato Valley. Today Tupungato is recognized as one of Mendoza´s premier viticulture regions and Rutini is widely recognized as Argentina's premier producer of fine wines. - Rutini
