This Polvaro Nero D.O.C. Venezia red from Tenuta Polvaro exemplifies Northern Italian elegance. Fermented in Mythos vinificators with 1620 days maceration it ages 12 months in oak and 24 months in stainless steel. Deep ruby with violet highlights it shows blackberry plum black pepper coffee and balsamic notes. Full-bodied structured with integrated tannins and a long finish. Best at 61F with grilled or braised meats and aged cheeses. Winner of prestigious international tasting awards.
