Especially when you can combine two summer favorites into one deliciously ice-cold concoction – boozesicles. You can buy boozesicles at Spec’s, of course, but if you want to get creative and make your own, we’ve got some awesome recipes that’ll have you fighting off brain-freeze all summer long.
Peach Bourbon Lemonade Pops
Ingredients
- 2 cups lemonade
- 1 cup peach puree
- 2 oz. bourbon
Directions
- In a blender mix all ingredients until smooth
- Pour into popsicle molds and let freeze overnight.
Tropical Tequila Sunrise Pops
Ingredients
- 2 cups pineapple juice
- 1 lb. fresh pineapple, peeled and pureed
- 3/4 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup grenadine
Directions
- Combine and stir pineapple juice, pureed pineapple and tequila.
- Fill popsicle molds 3/4 way up with mixture.
- Pour 1 teaspoon of grenadine into each well and freeze.
Gin Bramble Ice Pop
Ingredients
- ½ cup gin
- ¾ cup water
- ¾ cup sugar
- ¾ cup lemon juice
- 1½ cups blackberries
Directions
- Blend the first four ingredients until smooth.
- Pour an equal amount into popsicle molds.
- Top with equal parts of gin.
- Insert sticks and freeze until solid.
Lemon Drop Cream Poptail
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup vodka
- 1¾ cup lemon drop martini mixer
- 1½ tsp. agave nectar
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Fill the pop molds with equal amounts of the mix.
- Insert sticks and freeze until solid.
