Fall is fire pit season! The cooler nights are the perfect time to get outside and enjoy a brisk evening by a roaring fire. Everyone has their preferred method of doing so, whether it be a fancy fire pit with comfy chairs, a traditional campfire, or some exotic pyrotechnic creation that borders on the ridiculous – we all know at least one of these types!

So, we’ve put together some personalized suggestions with your favorite fireside friend in mind! Swing by your local Spec’s to shop these items and build a spectacular fall fire starter!

Let’s have a ball this fall, y’all!

For Your Fancy Friend:

For the friend that likes getting outdoors, without getting too far from the door, we’ve got a ruggedly elegant collection of fall wine, caviar, and gourmet chocolates. The chilly night air will keep the wine or champagne at the perfect temp, while the caviar provides a coastal creamy saltiness that’s balanced by the rich chocolate flavors. For upscale palates.

Wine : DANIEL DAMPT CHABLIS, 2016

Champagne : FREIXENET CORDON NEGRO BRUT SPARKLING

Caviar: PLAZA CAVIAR – HACKLEBACK 1OZ

Chocolate : DIVINE CHOCOLATE BAR – MILK CHOCOLATE

For The Outdoorsy Type:

This is for the friend who would rather build their own fire ring out of rocks instead of using a fire pit. They know the exact way to position the wood for the perfect air-to-fire ratio and have all the gear required for a lovely evening under the stars. They like to keep it simple and don’t need fancy foods to enjoy nature and as such we’ve put together an excellent fall beer to pair with a flavorful nut mix, and some gourmet jerky.

Beer : LAZY MAGNOLIA SOUTHERN PECAN

Nuts : SPEC’S MIX – NUTS ABOUT TEXAS

Jerky : TRAPPERS BEEF JERKY – OLD FASHIONED

For the Entertainer:

This is for the friend that starts the evening with “You might want to step back.” They have a bottle of lighter fluid ready in case it takes too long to catch and think the perfect fire size is one you have to sit 10 feet back from while keeping an eye on the tree branches overhead. They’re a natural creative and enjoy the process as much as the result. A warm fall cocktail and charcuterie board lets them get hands on with their evening.

Cheese Assortment : YANCEY FANCY ARTISAN CHEESE SAMPLER
