It’s the New Year and time for a brand new you! Or something like that. If you’re like most of us, you’ve probably got a resolution to lose weight that’s already getting pushed to the back burner. But what if there was an easy way to trim down some of your calorie intake without sacrificing something you love…like sitting around enjoying things. We’re talking about low-calorie cocktails! These fire-spitters are low on calories and high on taste so you can happily raise a glass to tipping the scales in your favor!

Cranberry Pineapple Rum Cocktail
Ingredients
1 oz. pineapple juice
2 oz. cranberry juice
1.5–2 oz. rum
1 cup sparkling water (flavored or unflavored)
Directions
Combine all ingredients and enjoy!
 
Skinny Grapefruit Moscow Mule
Ingredients
¼ cup fresh grapefruit juice
¼ cup sparkling/carbonated water
¼ cup ginger beer
1.5 oz. vodka
2 t fresh lime juice
Directions
Combine all ingredients and pour over ice
Garnish with more fresh grapefruit or lime
 
Jalapeño Pineapple Vodka Seltzer
Ingredients
1.5 oz. jalapeño vodka
2 tbsp. pineapple juice
6 oz. lime or pineapple flavored sparkling water
Directions
Combine one shot of the jalapeño vodka with 2 tbsps. pineapple juice and 6 oz. sparkling water flavor of choice (lime or pineapple works best)
Add ice and pineapple tidbits if desired
 
Coco-Coffee Martini
Ingredients
1 ½ oz. coconut vodka
½ oz sugar free sweetener
2 oz fresh-brewed coffee
Directions
Shake with ice and strain into a martini glass.
 
Winter’s Kiss
Ingredients
2 oz vodka
¾ lime juice
¾ oz. simple syrup
5 mint leaves
½ oz. diet cranberry juice
2 oz. club soda
5 cranberries
Directions
Muddle mint, lime juice and sugar in a tall glass.
Add remaining ingredients to the glass with ice and stir.
 
Pepper Keen Mocktail
Ingredients
2 jalapeños
3 green bell pepper
½ pomegranate molasses
½ agave nectar
1 lime
2 ½ pineapple juice
Directions
Muddle the jalapeños and bell peppers.
Blend ingredients with crushed ice until frothy and smooth.
Serve with ice and a splash of soda. Garnish with a pineapple wedge on the edge of the glass.
