If the raucous party known as Mardi Gras hadn’t already existed for centuries, we’d have to invent it! Fat Tuesday gives us the chance to jazz and pizazz things up in the middle of winter. Raise your glasses high tomorrow with some of our New Orleans-themed cocktail concoctions below!

Garden District
2 oz brut champagne
1½ oz silver tequila
½ oz agave nectar
¼ oz lemon juice
7 blackberries
Muddle blackberries, nectar, and lemon juice, and pour into an ice-filled shaker. Add tequila, shake, and strain into a glass with ice. Top with champagne. Enjoy!
Rumbalaya
1½ oz blended aged rum
1 oz brut champagne
½ oz lemon rum
¼ vanilla syrup
¼ oz allspice syrup
¼ oz passion fruit syrup
¼ oz lime juice
Orange slice & cherry for garnish
Add all ingredients into an ice-filled shaker, shake, and strain into a tall glass. Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.
Sazerac
2 oz rye whiskey
1 oz Pernod
1 cube sugar
1 tsp cold water
4 ice cubes
Dash Peychaud’s bitters
Dissolve the sugar in cold water in a mixing glass. Add the whiskey, Pernod, bitters and ice cubes and stir well. Strain into a well-chilled glass and enjoy!
