The average American now lives within 10 miles of a brewery according to the Brewers Association–due in no small part to the huge explosion of microbreweries crafting their own beers.
The U.S. now has more beer styles and brands to savor than any other country on the planet. At last count—3400 breweries from coast to coast, with 99% of those falling into the craft beer category. And there’s no finer place to see an outstanding cross section of America’s craft beers than your nearby Spec’s.
Our “hopheads” (craft brew experts) love to share their enthusiasm with customers. FYI, we’ve included a few basic craft brewery terms below for your consumption—just so you can talk the talk when you’re hosting a few friends to celebrate Craft Beer Week!
