Golf Themed Cocktails in Celebration of the Masters Tournament

Golf cocktails

It’s an exciting time for all the golf-nuts out there! The pros are getting ready to tee off for this year’s first major championship, The Masters, held in Georgia’s Augusta National Golf Club. To celebrate, we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite most classic golf-themed cocktails.

Mix up any one of these for yourself (or your caddie) and your Masters celebration is sure to be a hole-in-one!

The Azalea

The Azalea is arguably the most famous Masters of Augusta cocktails. It takes its name from the bushes that bloom during the Masters tournament. This classic golf cocktail is a breeze to whip up while you’re watching the tournament at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Lime or lemon juice
  • 1 oz Pineapple juice
  • 3 oz Dry Gin
  • Dash Grenadine
  • Lime wheel for garnish

Directions

  1. Mix lime or lemon juice, pineapple juice and gin in a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Add grenadine to get an azalea shade of pink.
  3. Shake then pour over ice into a highball glass.

The Scottish Links

We recommend using Glenmorangie for this cocktail. Its only fitting as this famous Scottish export has a long history intertwined with golf—specifically the Open Championship.

  • 1 ½ oz Glenmorangie Original
  • ½ oz Fresh lemon
  • ¾ oz Chamomile honey
  • ½ oz Fresh pink grapefruit
  • 1/3 oz Manzanilla sherry

  1. Shake and strain, then top with soda. Garnish with pink grapefruit and chamomile flowers (optional).
  2. Serve in a rocks glass.

The Eagle

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ oz Eden Mill Gin
  • ½ oz of Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • ½ oz of Maraschino Liqueur
  • Dash of crème de violette (optional)
  • Maraschino cherry for garnish

  1. Add the above ingredients (except cherry) to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously until chilled then strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with cherry and enjoy!

Spiked Arnold Palmer

  • 1 oz Lemon juice
  • 3 oz Freshly Brewed English Breakfast Tea (chilled)
  • Lemon Wheel for garnish
