Maestro Cocktail

A strawberry and maple syrup-inspired brunch bevy

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.
  2. Fine strain into a chilled martini glass.
  3. Garnish with a strawberry covered in balsamic vinegar and enjoy.

 

Banoffee Cocktail

Banana pancakes’ partner in crime

Ingredients

  • 1½ oz vanilla vodka
  • ¾ oz butterscotch schnapps
  • ¾ oz Crème de banana liqueur
  • ¼ fresh peeled banana
  • 1 spoon maple syrup
  • ½ oz milk
  • ½ oz half & half

Directions

  1. Muddle banana in the bottom of a shaker.
  2. Add all other ingredients.
  3. Shake with ice.
  4. Fine strain into a chilled martini glass.
  5. Garnish with a dusting of chocolate powder.

Pancake Punch

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Dark Rum
  • ⅓ oz sugar syrup
  • ½ oz pancake powder mix
  • 2 oz milk

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients with ice, in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Shake vigorously, ensuring all the powder has dissolved.
  3. Sugar coat the rim of a cocktail glass and add a slice of lemon or lime.
  4. Strain and pour the cocktail into the glass.

Bacon & Pancake Old Fashioned

Two words: bacon syrup

Ingredients

Bacon syrup

  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup water
  • Pinch of salt
  • 5 strips of cooked (but not crispy) bacon

Short Stack Old Fashioned

  • Angostura bitters
  • ½ oz Black Strap rum
  • 2 oz rye whiskey
  • ½ oz bacon syrup
  • Candied bacon
  • Orange peel

Directions

Bacon Syrup

  1. Combine brown sugar, water and salt in a sauce boil and bring to boil.
  2. Reduce heat and add bacon to pan and steep at a simmer for five minutes.
  3. Remove liquid and let cool completely. Place bacon in oven and cook at 400 degrees until crunchy, about five minutes.
  4. Let this candied bacon cool and reserve for garnish.

Short Stack Old Fashioned

  1. Combine ingredients in mixing glass with ice. Stir.
  2. Add mixture to cocktail glass with ice.
  3. Garnish with long strip of orange peel and a piece of candied bacon.

Blueberry Pancake Cocktail

Exactly what it sounds like

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Blueberry Vodka
  • 2 oz Southern Comfort
  • 8 oz Ginger Ale
  • Ice
  • Blueberries or raspberries (optional)

Directions

  1. Pour all three ingredients into a mixing glass and stir.
  2. Pour into rocks glasses.
  3. Add ice and garnish with blueberries or raspberries, as desired.
