Nothing says summer like fruit based ice cream. So in honor of Peach Ice Cream Day, we bring you a collection of peach ice cream inspired cocktail recipes. Be sure to stock up on supplies at your local Spec’s, then get ready to make one of the dreamiest, creamiest summer treats.
Peaches and Cream Martinis
serves 2
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Peach puree from 1 medium, ripe yellow peach
- 1/2 cup Peach schnapps
- 1/2 cup Cream liquor like Cask & Cream
- Splash of Triple Sec, such as Dekuyper
Ice
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, or mason jar, add ice, peach puree, schnapps, cream liquor, and triple sec. Shake vigorously.
- Strain into two martini glasses. Garnish with peach slices, if desired. Enjoy right away.
Peach Dreamsicle
Recapture the magic of the popular peach dreamsicle with this boozy concoction.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Tito’s Handmade Vodka
- 2 Scoops vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup Sliced peaches
- Fresh squeezed juice from 1 orange
- Whipped cream, orange zest, slice of peach (to top)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine vodka, ice cream, 1 cup sliced peaches, and orange juice.
- Blend until smooth, and top with whipped cream, orange zest, and a slice of peach.
Boozy Peaches and Cream Milkshake
serves 1 large, or 2 milkshakes
Ingredients
- 2 large Ripe peaches
- 1 cup Full-fat vanilla ice cream
- 1 oz Dark rum, such as Cruzan
- 1 tbs Brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp Cinnamon
Instructions
- Slice the peaches in half and remove the pit. With very clean hands, squeeze the juice and pulp into a blender (this will only work with a very ripe peach). Most of the skin will stay in your hands. Alternately, you can blanch and peel the peaches.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
