The Stealthy Strength of Specialty Sodas

Spec’s stocks everything delicious, including a dizzying array of specialty sodas for mixing and merriment! We carry everything fine and fizzy – from regional cult products to award-winning international sodas designed for mixologists.

For the regional soda aficionado, Cheerwine, an extra-bubbly cherry-based cola sweetened with cane sugar, has been produced in South Carolina since 1917. Texas’ Dublin Bottling Works (the former bottler of Dublin Dr. Pepper) makes many delicious flavors like Cherry Limeade and Retro Red Cream that are also sweetened with pure cane sugar and packaged in great retro glass bottles.

For an international sipper, try Lorina lightly flavored fruity sodas from France, or Fentimans products, produced in the UK since 1905. Fentiman’s prides themselves on historical flavors like Dandelion and Burdock, while Lorina focuses on citrusy sippers like Blood Orange and French Lemonade.

Fever Tree sodas, also from the UK, are specially formulated for use with premium liquors – and are delicious on their own. Portland-based Dry sodas (in such flavors as Lavender and Cucumber) and New York’s GuS sodas (boasting flavors like Pomegranate and Meyer Lemon) combine natural ingredients and unusual flavors for sophisticated refreshment with or without added libations.

Finally, Spec’s ginger beer selection is amazing. Stop by Spec’s when you’re trying to perfect your Moscow Mule or Dark and Stormy recipe (see starter recipes below).

Whatever your cola craving, Spec’s is sure to have a fantastic fizzy find for you, and our experts are sure to have some delicious cocktail combos to match any bubbly discovery on display!
