WITCH’S BREW SHOTS
Looking for the perfect potion as the witching hour draws near? Then go with Witch’s Brew, my dears!
Ingredients
- 2 oz of Empress Gin
- 3 oz of Soda Water
- ½ oz of Simple Syrup
- 2 oz Lemon Juice
- ½ oz of Blue Curacao
- Pearl Luster Dust
- Fresh Rosemary
Directions
- Add ice, luster dust, Empress Gin, soda water, and lemon juice to glass.
- Stir to combine.
- Slowly top layer with blue curaçao.
- Place a spoon just under the first layer of liquid and pour an additional ½ oz of Empress Gin to top the drink.
- Garnish with rosemary.
POISON APPLE
Bursting with fruity flavors, this drink will entice everyone to sip!
Ingredients
- ⅓ Cup of Apple Cider
- ⅓ Cup of Cranberry Juice
- 2 oz of Fireball
- 1 oz of Grenadine
- Gold Luster Dust
Directions
- Add ingredients to the shaker and pour over fresh ice.
BLOODY SHIRLEY
Let’s give this classic a Halloween makeover, shall we?
Ingredients
- 2 oz. of Oma’s Cherry Vodka
- 7 ½ oz of Sprite
- Honey
- Red Food Gel
Directions
- Garnish the rim of glass by combining honey and red food gel on a plate.
- Add Sprite and cherry vodka.
BIO-EXORCIST
Rumor has it that if you say this drink’s name three times, it’ll appear.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz of Crystal Head Vodka
- 1 oz Melon Liqueur
- Ginger Ale
- Black Rimming Salt
- Gummy Snakes
Directions
- Rim a glass with black rimming salt.
- Combine vodka, melon liqueur and crushed ice.
- Top with Ginger Ale and garnish with gummy snakes.
ZOMBIE
With a name like Zombie, you’d be remiss to not have it at your Halloween party.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz Jamaican Rum
- 1 ½ oz Puerto Rican Gold Rum
- 1 oz 151-Proof Demerara Rum
- 3/4 oz Lime Juice
- ½ oz Falernum
- 1 tsp Grenadine
- 4 Dashes Pernod
- 1 dash Angostura Bitters
- Mint Sprig for Garnish
Directions
- Add the Jamaica rum, Puerto Rican gold rum, demerara rum, Pernod, lime juice, Donn’s mix, falernum, grenadine and bitters into a blender, then add 6 ounces of crushed ice.
- lend at high speed for no more than 5 seconds.
- Pour the contents into a tall glass or Tiki mug and add additional crushed ice to fill, if necessary.
- Garnish with a mint sprig.
JACK-O-LANTERN
This easy-to-make cocktail is as fun to look at as it is to drink. Plus, it’s the perfect beverage for a pumpkin carving party.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz of Cognac
- ½ oz of Brandy-Based Orange Liqueur
- 1 oz of Orange Juice
- 2 to 3 oz of Ginger Ale
- Lime Twist
- Orange Wheel
Directions
- Shake the cognac, orange liqueur, and orange juice in a cocktail shaker that’s filled with ice.
- Strain into a large old-fashioned glass over fresh ice. Top with the ginger ale.
- Place the lime twist into the top center of the orange wheel and float on top of the drink.
CANDY CORN SHOT
Love it or hate it, candy corn is a staple of Halloween. Luckily, we recently discovered this recipe that we love and think you should bring to any spooky get together.
Ingredients
- ⅓ oz of Galliano L’Autentico Liqueur
- ⅓ oz Orange Curacao Liqueur
- ⅓ oz Cream
Directions
- Pour the Galliano into a shot glass.
- Float the orange curaçao on top by pouring it over the back of a bar spoon.
- Float the cream on top, also using the spoon.
- Enjoy!
VAMPIRE KISS MARTINI
Everyone will enjoy this festive cocktail of vodka, raspberry liqueur, and sparkling wine. Plus, the bloody red rim adds a frightful twist! You can also drop wax vampire teeth into the glass to give guests a special surprise.
Ingredients
- ¾ oz of Raspberry Liqueur
- Red Sugar for the Rim
- 1 ½ oz of Vodka
- 1 ½ oz of Sparkling Wine
Directions
- To rim a cocktail glass with red sugar, wet the rim by dipping it in a shallow dish of raspberry liqueur then roll it in red sugar until evenly coated.
- Pour the vodka and half of the raspberry liqueur into the glass.
- Top with the sparkling wine.
- Pour the remaining raspberry liqueur over the back of a spoon so it floats on top of the drink.
- Serve and enjoy.
BLACK WIDOW
While dark and mysterious, this eerie drink mixes quickly and easily so you can get back to your guests.
Ingredients
- 2 oz of Black Vodka
- 3 oz of Cranberry Juice
Directions
- Pour the cranberry juice into a highball glass filled with ice.
- Float the vodka on top by pouring it over the back of a bar spoon to disrupt the flow. Or you can slowly drizzle the vodka onto the cranberry juice for a swirling effect.
- Serve and enjoy.
PUMPKIN SPICE MARTINI
We are smack dab in the middle of pumpkin season. Got to make the most of it, right?
Ingredients
- 1 Cup of Ice Cubes
- 1 ½ oz of Vanilla Vodka
- 1 ½ oz of Irish Cream Liqueur
- 1 ½ oz of Pumpkin Flavored Liqueur
- 1 Pinch of Cinnamon
- 1 Pinch of Ground Nutmeg
Directions
- Add ice to a cocktail shaker.
- Pour the vanilla-flavored vodka, Irish cream liqueur, and pumpkin-flavored liqueur over the ice. Secure the lid and shake until the shaker feels cold and frosted on the outside.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.
- Top with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon and nutmeg for garnish.
SKELETON KEY
If you’re in the mood for a truly delightful drink that both refreshes and entertains this holiday, the Skeleton Key is the perfect pick. This distinctive bourbon cocktail features elderflower and ginger beer, topped off with a simple, yet striking bloody garnish.
Ingredients
- 1 ¼ oz Bourbon Whiskey
- ¾ oz Elderflower Liqueur
- ½ oz Lemon Juice
- 3 to 5 oz Ginger Beer
- 8 Dashes of Bitters
Directions
- Build the bourbon, elderflower liqueur, and lemon juice in a Collins glass filled with ice.
- Top it off with ginger beer.
- Garnish with bitters.
- Serve with a festive straw and enjoy!
BLOODY MARY
There’s no rule saying you can’t serve this iconic brunch beverage at your Halloween party.
Ingredients
- 3 Cups of Tomato Juice
- 3 tbsp of Lemon Juice
- 3 tbsp of Lime Juice
- 1 tbsp of Prepared Horseradish
- 1 ½ tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- ¼ tsp of Garlic Powder
- ¾ tsp of Tabasco Sauce
- ¾ tsp celery salt
- ½ tsp of Coarse Black Pepper
- ⅓ Cup of Pickle Juice
- 1 oz of Vodka (per drink)
Directions
- In a blender, combine the tomato juice, lemon juice, lime juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, pickle juice, and hot sauce. Blend until smooth. Pour the mixture into a nonreactive container, then stir in celery salt and black pepper to taste. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for the best flavor.
- When ready to serve, fill each glass with ice.
- Add 1 ounce of vodka to each glass, then fill the glass with the bloody mary mix. Stir well, and garnish each glass with your favorite veggie, pickle, celery, pickled green bean, or a pickled okra.
