Christmas Vacation (1989)
An over-the-top light display, obnoxious houseguests, bad luck, and a commitment to a good old-fashioned family Christmas make this one a must-see year after year. Enjoy the scene where Clark and Cousin Eddie sip eggnog out of Marty the Moose mugs with this classic recipe:
Classic Eggnog
4 oz eggnog4 oz white rum
1 cup whipped cream
Garnish with a cinnamon stick
Whisk the eggnog until frothy and pour into a glass and stir in white rum. Top with whipped cream and garnish with a cinnamon stick!
The Polar Express (2004)
Unleash your inner child with an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole on Christmas Eve. Sing along to the Hot Chocolate song while you enjoy this adult-version of the decadent drink:
Grown Up Hot Chocolate
1 oz coffee liqueur5 oz hot chocolate
1 tbsp whipped cream
Combine the coffee liqueur and hot cocoa in a coffee mug and top with whipped cream.
Home Alone (1990)
Enjoy hilarity and hijinks as Kevin McCallister finds ways to enjoy his freedom after being left behind by his family, all the while fighting off the Wet Bandits to save his home. Aahhhh! Enjoy the physical humor and pratfalls with this festive concoction:
Holiday Punch (in the face)
12 oz vodka12 oz frozen cranberry juice cocktail concentrate
6 oz frozen apple juice concentrate
6 oz frozen lemonade concentrate
2 cups ginger ale
4 cups club soda
Combine the frozen concentrates in a punch bowl. Once thawed, add ginger ale, club soda, and vodka. Stir well and serve on the rocks.
A Christmas Story (1983)
“You’ll shoot your eye out, kid!” but you’ll enjoy this hilarious story of 9 year-old Ralphie’s quest for a BB gun. Keep your tongue warm, and away from frozen flagpoles, with this delicious drink:
The Red Ryder
½ oz orange curacao¾ oz cinnamon liqueur
½ oz vodka
6 oz cranberry juice
1 tbsp whipped cream
Heat the cranberry juice until it’s hot. Add the orange curacao, cinnamon liqueur and vodka to a coffee mug. Slowly add in the hot juice and top with whipped cream.

The holidays are not complete until you’ve spent a few hours with Jimmy Stewart and the people of Bedford Falls. Enjoy this classic movie with this equally classic cocktail:
Hot Toddy
1 cup hot tea1 oz brandy
2 tsp honey
Splash of lemon juice, to taste
Cinnamon stick for garnish
Stir in brandy, honey and lemon juice with the tea and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
