Cinco de Mayo is just days away! And while we love a good margarita, there is more to this holiday than just tequila! Try one of these creative, Cinco de Mayo inspired recipes (and don’t worry we threw a classic margarita in there for good measure).
Michelada
1 bottle of beer of your choice
¼ cup kosher salt and 3 tbsp chili powder to rim the glass
1 lime sliced into 4 wedges
Dash of hot sauce
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
Combine the salt and chili powder in a small bowl and transfer to a flat plate. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip into the chili-salt to coat the rim. Squeeze 3 lime wedges into each glass, add remaining lime wedge to the glass and fill with ice. Add 1 bottle of beer, a dash of hot sauce and a dash of Worcestershire sauce. Enjoy!
Tequila Fresca
1 oz tequila
Dash of Campari
6 oz grapefruit soda
Small wedge of fresh pineapple, grapefruit and lime for garnish
Fill a glass with ice. Add tequila and Campari. Top off with the grapefruit soda. Skewer the fruit, stir into the cocktail and serve.
Prickly Pear Rita
½ oz orange liqueur
3 oz tequila
1 ½ oz lime juice
2 oz prickly pear syrup
Kosher salt and turbinado sugar to rim the glass
Combine the tequila, liqueur, lime juice and syrup in a cocktail shaker and shake well. Wet the rim of a margarita glass and dip into the salt and sugar mixture. Pour margarita into glass over ice.
Habanero Martini

1 small whole habanero pepper for garnish
