It’s Friday the 13th, a date many associate with bad luck. But here at Spec’s we believe in making your own luck, so why not celebrate? After all, a Friday is still a Friday.
So stop by your nearest Spec’s to stock up on the ingredients you’ll need to make these superstitious sippers. But just to be safe — try not to walk under any ladders on your way.
Black Cat
Ingredients
- 1 oz Blavod Black Vodka
- 1 oz Blue Curacao
- 3 oz lemon lime soda
- 1 oz cranberry juice
- ½ oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- Lime twist for garnish
Directions
- Fill a shaker halfway with ice. Add curacao, vodka and lime juice and shake. Add soda and stir.
- Pour cranberry juice into a tall glass. Over the back of a spoon, gently strain the mixed ingredients over the cranberry juice, being careful not to completely mix the two for presentation.
- Serve with a cocktail stirrer and a lime twist for garnish.
13th Floor
Ingredients
- 2 oz gin
- ¼ oz simple syrup
- 1 oz club soda
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 2 raspberries for garnish
Directions
- In a highball glass, muddle the raspberries and simple syrup.
- Add the gin and lemon juice, and stir.
- Fill with ice and top with the club soda and garnish with raspberries.
Full Moon Rising
Ingredients
- 1 oz Irish cream
- 1 oz orange liqueur
- 1 oz Drambuie
- 1 oz Kahlua
- 1 oz vodka
Directions
- Shake with ice and strain into a chilled Collins glass. Enjoy!
