When temperatures rise, so does the challenge of keeping beverages nicely chilled. Here’s a suggestion that lets your drink keep its cool and stay undiluted from ice. This weekend, heed the call to “Freeze!” and see how refreshing your drinks can be!
Just grab some ice trays, pour in your alcohol of choice from Spec’s (light wines or liqueurs work best) and pop them into the freezer. Four hours later, you’re ready to square off against the summer heat with an icy cocktail!
And here’s a recipe for you to try out:
Sangria Chillers
1 750ml bottle of red wine
¼ cup lemon juice
¼ cup lime juice
½ cup orange juice
¾ cups sugar
Combine the citrus juices, sugar, and red wines in a large pitcher and stir. Pour into ice cube trays and freeze for at least 4 hours, even better overnight!
