This week, one of sports’ most prestigious events, the Masters, takes place at one of golf’s most spectacular settings. Famous for its lush, meticulously maintained grounds lined with vivid blooming azaleas, Augusta National has been the tournament’s only host since 1934.
To get you in the spirit, we’ve teed up some libations that will make you feel like you’ve won the coveted green jacket!
Hole-In-One
1 ¾ oz scotch
¾ oz vermouth
¼ tsp lemon juice
Dash of orange bitters
Combine all ingredients in shaker with ice and strain into cocktail glass.
Fuzzy Tiger
1 ½ oz vodka
1 oz peach schnapps
Splash red Gatorade
Lemon twist for garnish
Combine ingredients in a glass with ice and garnish with a lemon twist.
Sand Trap
1 oz cherry liqueur
½ oz lemon juice
1 ½ oz scotch
½ oz sweet vermouth
Lemon slice for garnish
Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into an ice-filled highball glass and garnish with a lemon slice.
