Rum Yum, Yum!

Summer may be coming to an end, but it ain’t over yet. Thankfully, National Rum Day gives us one last taste of this endless summer on Sunday!

Here are a couple of interesting rum recipes to help you kick back and soak up the sun while celebrating this great liquor!

Aloha
1 ½ oz spiced rum
¼ oz falernum liqueur
¼ oz lemon juice
¼ oz passion fruit syrup
¼ oz grenadine
Dash of Peychaud’s bitters

Combine ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a glass and enjoy!

Spicy Pineapple
1 ½ oz aged rum
1 ½ oz pineapple juice
¾ oz spicy ginger syrup
½ oz lemon juice
Dash of Angostura & Peychaud’s bitters
Pineapple leaf for garnish

Pour ingredients into an ice-filled cocktail shaker and shake well. Strain into a glass filled with ice and garnish with a pineapple leaf.
