We all know that Texas can do vodka and whiskey… there are countless distilleries that show that! But one of Texas’ most impressive dark horse liquors is gin. Distilleries throughout the state are proving that gin is just one more area in which Texas excels! This month, we’re taking a look at three quality gins from right here in the Lone Star State.
Brazos Gin
This is a well-balanced Texas-style gin with soft notes of juniper, complemented by bold citrus flavors. Hints of rosemary, cardamom, bergamot and coriander give it a spicy kick.
1835 The Lone Star Gin
With delicate floral flavors and a hint of pecan, this small-batch gin is handcrafted and sourced local, right here in Texas. The batches are kept small to preserve its personality and showcase the bold, yet approachable, flavors of Texas.
Waterloo Gin
A true Texas native, this London-style gin highlights bold flavors of lavender, grapefruit and pecan to give it a true Texas twist.
Enjoyed any of these on the rocks or try them in a classic cocktail!
