Spring’s official arrival deserves a toast that’s not your usual garden variety type drink. We’ve plucked some unusual cocktail recipes that you’ll find as colorful and refreshing as a field of wild flowers!

Peach Mint Julep
1½ oz bourbon
1 peach, quartered
1 mint sprig
1 tsp sugar
½ oz Ginger liqueur
Mint sprig for garnish
In a cocktail shaker, combine half of the peach, mint, sugar, and ginger liqueur. Gently crush with a spoon, then pour bourbon and mix.
Violet Crown
2 oz gin
½ oz lemon juice
¼ oz maraschino liqueur
¼ oz crème de violette
Cherry for garnish
In an ice-filled cocktail shaker, combine ingredients. Shake vigorously and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry.
Butterfly Martini Cocktail
1½ oz vodka
1½ oz white grape juice
1 tsp lemon juice
3 basil leaves
3 mint leaves
1 tsp Elderflower cordial
Edible flower for garnish
Fill a cocktail shaker with all ingredients and ice. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with an edible flower.
