Put the Holla in Your Halloween Drink Recipes!

It might be hard to believe, but Halloween used to primarily be a kid’s holiday. With all the adult-themed parties and grown-up costumes though, the focus has definitely shifted to an older crowd. A big part of the Halloween festivities has become liquor-laced libations. Decidedly adult drinks that combine the creepy colors and visuals of Halloween with frighteningly-flavorful fun. We scared up some of our favorite Halloween drink recipes just for you!

Zombie

1 ½ oz light rum
1 ½ oz dark rum
1 tsp 151 proof rum
½ oz apricot brandy
2 oz orange juice
1 oz pineapple juice
1 oz lime juice
1 tsp sugar
Orange slice and cherry for garnish

Combine all ingredients, except the 151 proof rum, with a cup of crushed ice in a blender. Blend for 15 seconds or until smooth. Pour into a glass and float the 151 proof rum on top. Garnish with orange slice and cherry.

Vampire Bite

1 ½ oz vodka
¾ oz amaretto
¾ oz coconut rum
2 oz pina colada mix

In a blender, combine all ingredients with a cup of crushed ice. Blend for 15 seconds or until smooth. Pour into a hurricane glass.

Scream

3 ½ oz coconut rum
½ oz vodka
½ oz triple sec
¼ oz lime juice
Lime wedge for garnish

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Strain mixture into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a lime wedge.

Monster Mash

1 ½ oz vodka
¾ oz banana liqueur
¾ oz crème de cacao
½ ripe banana
4 pieces milk chocolate
2 scoops vanilla ice cream

In a blender, combine all ingredients with ½ cup of crushed ice. Blend for 15 seconds or until smooth. Pour into your glass and enjoy the Monster Mash!

Poison Apple

2 oz rum
1 oz apple liqueur
1 tsp cinnamon
Apple slice for garnish

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Strain mixture into a martini glass and garnish with the apple slice.
